Property Developers are seeking to change existing planning approvals to build homes in the flood plain area off Frogmore Lane in Sixpenny Handley. They are doing this by applying for a variation of existing approval attempting to give an impression of a minor "tweak" to what has been approved. Nothing could be further from the truth. 

Astonishingly it appears Dorset Council planners are minded to simply allow this variation without proper scrutiny and democratic discussion.

Our local councillor Piers Brown has requested that the application be properly considered at a public meeting by elected councillors and where members of the public can attend and make representations.

Please demand that Dorset Council listen to our concerns about flood risk in the village
