As a senior student at Harvard University, I am deeply concerned about the administration's handling of the current crisis. Our president, Claudine Gay, has failed to respond adequately and has shown a concerning lack of mention towards Islamophobia. This silence is deafening in an institution that prides itself on diversity and inclusivity.

Moreover, there has been a sudden shift in stance towards condemning phrases like "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." This phrase has received years of support within our university community. The abrupt change without proper dialogue or explanation is alarming.

Harvard University is one of the leading institutions globally with students from diverse backgrounds. It should set an example by promoting open dialogue and addressing issues such as Islamophobia head-on rather than ignoring them.

The lack of action from President Gay during this critical time shows a disregard for these values we hold dear as members of this esteemed institution. Therefore, we call for her resignation as President of Harvard University.
