As concerned citizens of the world, it is heartbreaking to witness the continuous suffering of Palestinian civilians. We cannot stand by idly, observing this genocide unfold before our eyes without actively pushing for an end to this human tragedy.

 The United Nations and the International Criminal Court have  labeled Israel's massive destruction of hospitals, its constant bombing of civilian & refugee areas, and its blockades of food and essential aid as "war crimes". The UN & ICC  have angrily highlighted the thousands upon thousands of targeted casualties -- including many children, journalists, aid workers, and medical staff.

It is therefore imperative that world leaders strongly unite to demand an end to the civilian suffering in Palestine. Israel has no legal justification or right to seize Palestinian land, expel Palestinians, and to forcibly target its weapons of violence and starvation against civilians.

 It is evident that the verbal condemnations by world leaders is not enough to halt these atrocities. It is therefore time for concrete action. We urge PM Carney & EU Leaders to take the following actions:

• Officially recognize Palestine as an independent nation, with its right to self-govern.

Demand Israel stop all bombing and acts of aggression; unblock food & aid from reaching Palestinians, and retreat their armed forces back to the boundaries within internationally-recognized Israel. Until these actions ere complete, the following penalties must be taken and agreed-upon for the long-term: 

• Impose strict sanctions on Israel -- halting all funding & international trade.
• Completely prohibit the sale and sending of weapons to Israel.
• Israeli representatives must be banned from participation in ALL international political arenas and competitions, including sporting & cultural events.

 A collective & direct order from PM Carney, Macron and other EU leaders must be given to Israel for an immediate ceasefire & withdraw from Palestinian territory, and opening of the blockade so life-saving food & medicine can reach the needy.

Enforcing these measures is not merely a political obligation but a moral one.
