My love for Guinea Pigs started about 4 months ago when I got a few of my own from PetSmart. I spent so many hours everyday for WHEEKS researching and learning everything I could about them! I was madly deeply in love and obsessed with these little guys!

Today I walked into my local PetSmart located in Sacramento California because I needed to get food for my guinea pigs. I was ABSOLUTELY APPALLED to see the size of their enclosure and the lack of hay! Four guinea pigs were in a tiny enclosure that was about 1/5 of the room that a single guinea pig needs! There was roughly a handful of hay for four guinea pigs! Guinea pigs need hay 24/7! 

2 GPs need  7.5ftsquared

3 GPs need 10.5ftsquared

4 GPs need 13ftsquared and so on…
