I & other residents living in NYCHA  Lafayette Gardens Houses development in Brooklyn are demanding NYCHA & government officials to take down scaffolding around the buildings because work  has never been performed. These scaffolding were up several years. For quite a while, there has been no lights during night time. It does not pose safety measures. I came home almost midnight in pitch black dark & no lights on whatsoever. It's quite dangerous & unsafe with no lights on at night. We as public housing residents are demanding scaffolding to be taken down. There are no signs that indicate the dates when work is to start or be completed. Nothing!  There are elderly & disabled folks that are confine to a cane or walkers or wheelchairs. We are all urging for scaffolding to be remove if no work is going to be perform
