This semester has been incredibly tough for me and many other students at the University of Notre Dame across Australia. Due to the recent IT outage, I've been unable to access essential documents and resources needed for my studies and to meet workplace requirements. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's affecting my academic journey and my ability to earn a living.

The Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) is meant to enhance our university experience by giving us access to various resources and services. Yet, with the current situation, those resources have been painfully lacking. It's only fair to request that the SSAF payment for this semester be waived.

The IT issues have not only rendered the systems inaccessible but have also severely limited our access to student services and academic materials. Students like me cannot afford to pay for services we aren’t receiving. I urge the administration to acknowledge these challenges and take immediate action by waiving the SSAF payment for this semester.

Additionally, we seek assurances that the functionality of the student centre will be restored promptly. Access to an easily navigable and fully operational student centre is crucial for us to manage academic and administrative tasks efficiently.

This is not just about fairness; it's about ensuring that students' education is not unnecessarily disrupted and that the foundational services promised are delivered. I call upon the leadership at Notre Dame University to recognize the difficulties faced by students and immediately address our concerns.
