Bullying is a serious issue in our schools and it is heartbreaking to experience it coming from a member of the North Penn School Board. Christian Fusco, a current School Board Director, recently exemplified this bullying behavior online, intimidatingly stating, "I am part of a group here in Towamencin you don't want to F**k with."

This level of conduct, particularly from someone in Fusco's position, setting examples for our students, is unacceptable. Just in the United States alone, over 20% of students aged 12-18 experience bullying each year (NCES,2018). Even more worrying is the fact that frequent instances of online bullying have led to severe consequences, including students ending up hospitalized.

We are calling on all North Penn School Board Directors to publicly denounce Christian Fusco's online bullying behavior. We ask for their commitment to maintaining a higher standard and code of ethics in their service as School Board Directors - amplifying the need for a respectful and positive environment for all. This is not just about maintaining professional integrity; it's about setting a precedent for our students to learn the importance of treating others with kindness and respect.
