I found out today that the Director of Noah Project is allegedly claiming that her personal vet bills being charged to Noah Project was a mistake. The board is currently helping her stay in her position and allowing her to pay the money back to avoid charges being filed! The Board of Directors was put in place to protect the shelter, instead, they are protecting a person that has admitted to using Noah project funds for personal use and is now claiming it’s an accident. If she has done this, what else has she done in her position with full access to the money that the community donates? One animal, one vet office, one charge could be a mistake. Multiple pets, multiple vet offices, multiple charges over an extended period of time seems very deliberate to me. 
This is an injustice, and I am asking you to help stop this from happening. Call the Fruitport Police Department at 231-865-8477 and the Muskegon County prosecutor at 231-724-6435 and tell them you want charges filed against this Director. We cannot allow our beloved local shelter to be run by somebody that we cannot trust to handle the finances with honesty and integrity.
