Many students, including myself, at our university in salt lake Utah, face significant challenges due to the current proctoring software used for our exams. This software often fails to connect properly, leading to missed appointment times and heightened anxiety before the exam even commences. The stress of encountering technical glitches just moments before an important test can be detrimental to student performance.

Exam periods are already stressful for us, and technical obstacles only compound this stress. Reliable and user-friendly technology should support, not hinder, our academic journey. Unfortunately, the current proctoring system undermines our hard work, leading to unfair disadvantages and unnecessary academic pressure.

Statistics show that technical failures affect approximately 30% of students during online exams, according to a study published by EDU Research (*2021 Report*). This issue doesn't only affect performance but also the mental health of students, pushing many towards burnout and anxiety disorders.

We believe that our institution, a place of learning and growth, should prioritize adopting modern, effective, and student-friendly proctoring solutions. By switching to a more consistent and supportive proctoring platform, the university can enhance the testing experience and ensure fairness in assessment.

I urge the university administration to review alternative proctoring technologies that offer seamless integration and bolster student confidence. Companies such as  'ExamSoft' provide tailored solutions that align better with student needs, offering smoother connectivity and reducing examination stress.
