I am just an ordinary parent, but my story reveals a heartbreaking truth that we can no longer ignore. My family has endured a relentless nightmare, repeatedly targeted by Child Protective Services (CPS), resulting in the removal of five of my children. Even more devastating, CPS pursued my seven-month-old baby based on mere hearsay, with no concrete evidence to back their actions. This painful personal experience, compounded by my own health struggles, has opened my eyes to the systemic failures within CPS—failures that have torn apart countless families, including mine.

 We cannot stand by and allow this to continue. We *must* come together as a community to demand change, to demand accountability, and to protect the very families CPS was meant to support. This is not just my fight—it’s ours. We need a CPS system that conducts thorough investigations before making life-altering decisions. Families should not be destroyed based on assumptions or unfounded accusations. We need to hold CPS accountable for the harm caused by reckless and negligent decisions that have broken hearts, homes, and futures.

Our fight also calls for CPS workers to be trained in communication, empathy, and the sensitive task of family reunification. They must be equipped not just to remove children, but to strengthen families, restore trust, and ensure that when children are removed, it is because of real, undeniable risk—not fear, bias, or negligence and in Shasta County, California, the need for change is even more urgent. Allegations of CPS corruption and possible involvement in child trafficking demand immediate investigation. These claims cannot be ignored—they are too serious, too urgent, and too dangerous to leave unchecked.
