During the past three weeks, there has been a noticeable increase in instances of hate speech. One such occurrence involves a woman named Eva Lonn, who holds a prominent position as a professor of medicine at McMaster University. The display of hate speech by someone in a professional capacity like her is deemed unacceptable, necessitating appropriate action to address the situation. We firmly insist that McMaster University take the necessary steps to revoke her teaching license and terminate her employment.  IMPORTANT I strongly encourage all of  you to file a report with the medical governing board in Ontario. By doing so, both the university and her employer will be notified, and they will be compelled to address the matter with utmost seriousness.

The impact of this situation is profound and far-reaching. It's not just about one person spreading hate; it's about the influence they hold over young minds as an educator. According to a study conducted by UNESCO, educators play a significant role in shaping students' attitudes and behaviors (UNESCO 2019). This makes it even more crucial for us to address this issue promptly.

It is high time that McMaster University takes decisive action against Professor Eva Lonn for her unacceptable behavior. Let us come together as a community committed against all forms of hatred and demand accountability from our educational institutions.
