Living in the same community as Brian Maclin, I have witnessed the horrifying aftermath of his actions. For over 30 years, he has been involved in dog fighting, causing immense suffering to countless animals. Despite being charged with felony level crimes by our local police department, he is currently free and continues to pose a threat to our community and its animals.

Brian's court date is approaching this month. It is crucial that we ensure justice is served not only for the innocent dogs who have fallen victim to his cruel activities but also for our community that lives in fear due to his violent behavior.

Dog fighting is a serious crime with severe penalties under U.S law. According to The Humane Society of United States, offenders can face maximum penalties of up to $250,000 fine and/or 5 years imprisonment on federal charges (The Humane Society). Yet despite these potential consequences, Brian remains unpunished.
