The intersection of McKeachie Drive and Oakhampton Road Aberglasslyn has been the site of many serious accidents in recent years. The latest one week ago was fatal - a young motorbike rider. Many lives were changed instantly. Not only of the young rider but the driver of the vehicle, the residents that rendered first aid at the scene, and also children in the family friendly estate that unfortunately continue to witness these accidents. 
Residents have been contacting the council for years, with this being ignored. This outcome prediction has been well documented on social media groups. We are extremely concerned next time this might be a child crossing the road, or a car ending up coming through one of the houses. 
Immediate action needs to be taken to slow cars down on McKeachie Drive and Oakhampton road. Signs needs to be erected surrounding the intersection reminding people not to park close to the intersection. Parking rangers need to patrol our area and hand out notices where appropriate before more lives are changed forever.
