100,000 signatures has been known to make the biggest impact but you don’t need 100,000 signatures in order to make change. In fact, Change.org facilitates plenty of winning petitions at all levels. 

Signatures = People

It’s easy to focus on numbers alone when gathering signatures for a petition. But don’t forget that each signature represents a real person who is part of a community supporting the same cause! That’s huge! 

Finally, the action we take with these signatures is more important than signatures then themselves. Our community is ready to mobilize! Mainers are ready to be at the forefront of this issue to ensure we can ALL feel safe and prevent further atrocities from happening in our state.
