Dear Councillor Peter Ristevski,

Thank you for forwarding the enquiry below, referring to an email from Michael Andjelkovic regarding Sinozich Park in Edmondson Park.

Council can confirm that Mr Andjelkovic's enquiry was considered and responded to by Council's Acting Manager Infrastructure Planning via email on 8 July 2026 (TRIM 191530.2026-003).

Mr Andjelkovic was provided an update on the status of Sinozich Reserve as follows:

Council confirms that land acquisition for Sinozich Reserve has been successfully completed, with the last remaining lot acquired by Council in December 2025. Council now has ownership and control over all the combined sites required for Sinozich Reserve, enabling technical investigations and detailed planning to progress.

Preliminary planning and schematic design activities are in progress. Site investigations and a range of technical studies to inform the future development of the reserve are also being undertaken, including site survey, Biodiversity Environmental Constraints Report, Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment and commencement of the Designing with Country process.

In parallel, an updated Master Plan for Sinozich Reserve is currently being developed by Council in-house and is expected to be tabled for Council consideration at a future Ordinary Meeting of Council in 2027, subject to the timing and outcome of the specialist Consultancy investigations referenced above.

Detailed design and delivery of projects identified in the Master Plan will occur once the Master Plan has been finalised and adopted by Council, and funding has been confirmed.

Do you remember this promise from the Liberals in Liverpool only recently? Where is the $2 million for Sinozich Park?

❌ The Liberals are a bunch of liars that never want to do what’s good for Liverpool. As an example, they have spent your money in just a few months on:

▪️ $700,000 on Ramadan
▪️ $5,000 on a mural for this mayor
▪️ 3 x overseas trips for this mayor
▪️ $200,000+ on a mayor newsletter promoting his image

❓Why did they refuse to even consider spending this money on Sinozich Park? Why??? Because they mismanage your money, and the People of Edmondson Park should not put up with this, and many other such things, any longer!!!

The Liberals promised you everything and delivered nothing. Our city has been run into the ground by incompetent politicians.

Let's keep the pressure on Liverpool City Council to deliver the Park's they promised for Edmondson Park.
