This matter is deeply personal to me, as the obligations set out in the Labrador Constitution and the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement have not been met. We are witnessing a plight of negligence. These unfulfilled obligations pose grave concerns for the well-being of the Labrador Inuit community, for their rights, their lands, their culture, and their future. They are a stark testament to the failures of the current Nunatsiavut government leaders.
