I am a resident of Kirkcudbright, and like many others, I have been a victim of Andrew May's violent outbursts. This is not just my story but the story of many who live in fear, avoiding certain areas in our own town because we feel unsafe.

The time has come for us to reclaim our peace and safety. We are calling on the local authorities to take immediate action against Andrew May. It is their duty to protect us from such threats and ensure that everyone can live without fear in Kirkcudbright.

According to UK Crime Stats, there were 1,097 reported incidents of violent crime in Dumfries & Galloway (the region where Kirkcudbright is located) between October 2020 and September 2021 (source: UK Crime Stats). We believe that this number could be significantly reduced if individuals like Andrew May were properly dealt with by the authorities.
