Demand Keir Starmer's resignation
The Issue
Demand Keir Starmer Resign Over Misplaced Government Priorities
Keir Starmer has stated that the case of Alaa Abd El-Fattah was a “top priority” of his government.
This decision comes at a time when rising immigration, the cost-of-living crisis, housing shortages, crime, and severe pressure on public services remain among the top concerns of British citizens.
Many members of the public are deeply concerned that government time and political capital were devoted to an individual who has never lived in the United Kingdom and was granted UK citizenship by a previous government despite having no residence or lived connection to the country.
Further concern arises from the fact that Alaa Abd El-Fattah has been a highly controversial figure, with publicly available statements and social media posts that critics have described as racist, antisemitic, or appearing to endorse or justify violence. These views have been widely discussed and condemned by members of the public.
Prioritising such a case over the urgent needs of British citizens raises serious questions about judgment, values, and national priorities.
We believe this reflects a clear disconnect between government actions and the concerns of the public.
For these reasons, we call on Keir Starmer to resign as Prime Minister.
