She Kicked Them Out On The Street | Michelle Walker, Realtor

With Regard to Michelle L. Walker, realtor d/b/a Stl Buy and Sell Realtors located in St. Peters Missouri what you see in public relations materials advertising for new clients, people with smiling faces, office parties where associate realtors are cutting cake, passing out party favors and pop'n bottles is in stark contrast to what her business does when the front door is locked, the curtains are pulled shut and no one can see inside.
If you are "old school" like me, and grew up on Motown, the number of unforgettable hits from that era are as hip today as they were back then and I know that you young peep's know these tunes because all I have to do is start singing: "Papa was a rolling stone, where ever he laid his has was his home" and everyone one of you will bust a smile and start "chiming' in" with me.
But the hit that comes to mind when I think about Michelle Walker kicking renters to the curb is the tune "Smiling Faces Sometimes" by The Undisputed Truth. There is a parallel here. Smiling and "happy face" in the advertisements. - Using the powers of the state and law enforcement to put what little possessing a person has out on the street. It was all they had.
Michelle Walker d/b/a Stl Buy and Sell, Realtors is also a "property manager" which is a significant part of her business model. Collecting rent and lease enforcement. When it comes time to put a tenant out she retains one of the best "Hired Guns" in St. Louis to do the job. Attorney Matthew S. Chase.
TL;DR
Most tenants who are renting an apartment or home are not aware of their rights as per Missouri Statute. When they receive an eviction notice they will scramble to vacate never knowing that there are circumstances that prohibit a landlord from evicting a tenant or afford them time to make arrangements to find new residency. That however, finding a new home, is not in the interests of the landlord they want the premises vacated and swept as soon as possible. It is when the tenant does not leave willingly that landlords get the courts and law enforcement involved and lay all the powers of the state upon their backs in order for them to comply.
In 2025 / 2026 three African American families were evicted from their homes. Enter, attorney Matthew S. Chase esq. - Who is Matthew S. Chase"
Kevin S. Held with Fox2Now did an expose on the subject of Matthew Chase after Chase was mentioned on HBO's "Last Week Tonight" by John Oliver.
Oliver plays two clips of Chase. In the first clip, dated Oct. 2020 during the height of the COVID pandemic, Chase holds court on a video conference call with landlords and attorneys in response to the eviction moratorium during the covid phenomenon.
Chase advises landlords and attorneys to file evictions anyway because if renters are unaware of the moratorium, it’s their own fault.
Quote - Chase: “The advocates for these tenants are like, ‘You know, these people still don’t what’s available to them and they don’t know anything about the CDC declaration.’ … F— them! F— them all!”
Quote - Chase: “They’re too stupid to know what their legal rights are? They shouldn’t have signed a f—— contract for a thousand-dollar-a-month unit for a year. If they’re too f—— stupid to sign, to know anything, to read the news, to have any idea about their rights. If they’re too f—— stupid they shouldn’t be signing a $12,000 contract!”
In a clip from Chase's Youtube Channel Chase states: the people he represents have evicted grandparents who are poor and people going through chemotherapy in the past, and that landlords should not feel guilty or hesitant about filing for evictions.
This is the man, the "hired gun" that Michelle Walker hires to bring all the powers of the state and civil courts down upon the backs of the most financially vulnerable.
They never had a chance
All three of the tenants upon whom Michelle Walker obtain court orders for eviction were not represented by legal counsel. They never had a chance. Below are the three tenants who realized eviction(s) and links to Missouri Casenet that you may view for yourself how these cases were litigated and disposed.

Ladies and gentlemen, when you see the advertisements, the smiling faces, the Google and Yelp reviews that talk about "community involvement" and social justice just remember, when the rubber hit's the road, you are broke and destitute the moment you are deemed to be an "undesirable tenant" the smile turns into scorn and everything that you own including you and your children, are put out on the curb for people to pick through.

Value Added : Tenant Advocacy Legal Primer - Your rights under Missouri Statute:
An apartment eviction in Missouri requires a legal court process where landlords must file a lawsuit and use the St. Louis Sheriff's Department for enforcement, as self-help lockouts are illegal. [1, 2, 3, 4]
The Eviction Process in Missouri
Notice Period: For unpaid rent, landlords can demand payment immediately and file a lawsuit. Lease violations require a 10-day notice, and month-to-month terminations require a 30-day notice. [5, 6]
Court Filing: The landlord files a rent and possession or unlawful detainer action in the circuit court. The entire court process typically takes 1 to 3 months. [2, 6, 7]
Illegal Lockouts: Landlords cannot shut off utilities, remove doors, or change locks without a court order. Doing so can penalize them up to two months' rent or double actual damages. [3]
Writ Execution: If the court rules for the landlord, a writ is issued. In local jurisdictions, the landlord must schedule the physical enforcement and coordination directly through the St. Louis Sheriff's Department Eviction Policy. Only deputies can forcibly remove occupants. [1, 3]
