On November 1, 2019, at 2:44 a.m., my beloved 16-year-old son, XeQuan Lamar Campbell affectionately known as ChooChoo to his family and Quan to his friends was brutally taken from us. His death certificate unequivocally states homicide, yet our cries for justice have remained unheard in Jackson County. This petition is deeply personal to me; XeQuan was my son, a bright and loving soul whose life was unjustly cut short.

XeQuan was more than just a victim; he was a promising young man with dreams and a future, cruelly stolen from his family and, most heartbreakingly, his young daughter, who is now left with unanswered questions.
