Enough is enough! Harjinder Singh’s reckless actions have caused irreparable harm, and the current legal consequences don’t match the devastation left behind. We demand the courts, or the legislature, if necessary, to upgrade the possible sentence for Harjinder Singh to the death penalty to ensure justice is served and because we must send a clear message that such negligence and disregard for our laws will not be tolerated.

But it doesn’t stop there. The Department of Transportation (DOT) must act NOW to suspend all commercial licenses for foreign drivers until rigorous vetting and training standards are enforced. Lives are at stake, and we can’t afford to gamble with public safety. Additionally, we call for an immediate halt to H1B visa entries from India until comprehensive reviews of the program’s impact on our communities are conducted.
