My name is Katlyn. In 2015, I experienced gender-based violence at Diamond Ranch Academy, perpetrated by medical personnel named Dennis Mitchell. This man violated me and dozens of other girls aged between 12-17 under the guise of a sham gynecological examination. We were forced to submit to this indignity, which was nothing more than an act of molestation.

Diamond Ranch Academy has since been shut down but they have continued to lie about what happened to me and several other girls. They claim that the only incident that occurred was a routine gynecological examination called a Pap smear. However, there are no records or evidence to validate their claims. Moreover, they did not inform my parents about these so-called examinations.

When we tried to speak up about the abuse we suffered, we were immediately dismissed as false accusers regarding any form of abuse happening at the academy. It is worth noting that some of his coworkers also sexually assaulted other students.

This is not just my story; it's the story of countless others who have suffered in silence due to fear and intimidation from those in power who should have protected us.

We demand justice for all victims like us who experienced gender-based violence at Diamond Ranch Academy by Dennis Mitchell and his accomplices among staff members. We call on law enforcement agencies and judicial authorities to criminally charge Dennis Mitchell for his actions against us and properly investigate all staff involved in these heinous acts.
