What happened to MyGirlFund creators?

MyGirlFund (MGF) was an online platform used by content creators to communicate with subscribers and earn money through paid interactions and content. 

In ~2024, MyGirlFund shut down. A number of creators reported being left with money showing as owed to them on their accounts, while others reported losing access to private content, account information, earnings records and communications connected to their work on the platform.

 I was one of those creators. 

When I originally started this petition back in October 2024, I knew I had been affected, despite my diligent efforts and time invested, I was not compensated for my services, and my privacy and image violated; but I did not yet have enough documentation from others affected to properly understand the scale of the problem. This experience is not unique to me; numerous other women have reported the same grievous infringement. Since then, a few former creators have contacted me and described unpaid balances ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars. Some of those women have provided screenshots, account information and communications with MyGirlFund as supporting evidence. 

This petition is being relaunched in 2026 to collect and preserve that evidence and to ask the appropriate authorities to investigate what happened to creators' unpaid earnings and, what the hell happened to MGF?

What we are asking for?

We are asking for: 

• An investigation into the circumstances surrounding MyGirlFund's shutdown and the treatment of creators' unpaid balances. 
• An investigation into a new website that has popped up, www.mygirlfund.net 
• An investigation into whether creators were given accurate information about their earnings, withdrawals and/or the status of their accounts. 
• Accountability if evidence establishes that creators were unlawfully denied money they were owed.
• Assistance in identifying what happened to outstanding creator balances and whether any funds remain recoverable.
• Clear information for affected creators about what legal or regulatory avenues are available to them.

This petition is not asking anyone to accept an unverified allegation as fact.

We are asking for the evidence to be taken seriously and for the appropriate authorities to investigate. 

If MyGirlFund owes you money:

If you were a MyGirlFund creator and you were left with an unpaid balance, please consider sharing whatever documentation you still have. 

Useful evidence may include: 

• Screenshots showing your account balance or pending withdrawal
• Emails or messages from MyGirlFund support
• Payment or withdrawal records
• Screenshots showing expected or promised payments
• Terms of service or payment information from the platform
• Records showing when you attempted to withdraw your money
• Any correspondence received around the platform's closure
• Other documentation that helps establish what happened to your account or earnings 

You do not need to have thousands of dollars outstanding for your experience to matter.

Why this matters?

Many women relied on platforms like MyGirlFund to earn an income. When a platform disappears, creators can be left with very little ability to access their own records, personal information and content, or determine what happened to money they had earned. 

I don't want this petition to simply be another internet complaint. 

I want to build a documented record of what happened, connect affected creators, preserve evidence, and put that information in front of the people and organisations who have the authority to investigate.
