A dear friend's dog was sent to a local trainer in Brookfield, MA for training purposes. This person identifies as a professional trainer and she handles dogs in the show ring. This abusers name is TAMMY DUPRE. She has a history of animal abuse that my friend was unaware of.

Tragically, the dog. ( 11 month old German Shepherd, Ramstein ) was starved to death on the property of this supposed professional. This heartbreaking incident is not just a personal loss but also an alarming instance of animal cruelty that has been overlooked by the local Animal Control Officer (ACO). Animal cruelty is a serious issue that affects thousands of animals every year. According to the Humane Society, nearly 1 million animals are abused or killed each year due to domestic violence alone in the United States. This figure does not even account for cases like ours where negligence and abuse occur outside domestic settings.

The individual responsible for this heinous act has yet to be held accountable. The lack of action from our local ACO further exacerbates this injustice and raises concerns about their ability to protect our community's pets.

We demand justice for my friend's dog and all other animals who have suffered at the hands of abusers without consequence. We call upon Brookfield authorities and Massachusetts state officials to investigate this case thoroughly and ensure that those responsible are held accountable under existing animal welfare laws.
