We the parents of students of Burn Hall  School are devastated to hear about the sexual abuse a young student suffered at the hands of an older student of the same institution within the seemingly safe confines of the school environment. This incident, which has shaken our community to its core, occurred  inside the school premises , a place  we send our children to in the care and trust of the educators and staff . 

Sexual abuse in schools is not only a breach of trust but a grave violation of a child's right to a safe educational environment. This is an alarming incident that underscores the urgency for immediate action and preventative measures.

We demand that the competent authorities , CWC and law enforcement, conduct a thorough investigation into this incident. It is imperative that those responsible are held accountable, and that justice is served in a timely manner. This should also involve providing full support to the victim and their family to help them heal and recover from this traumatic experience.

In addition to dealing with this incident, we urge the school to implement stricter safeguarding policies, regular staff training on handling such issues, counselling and awareness workshops for both students and staff, CCTV monitoring of the school premises and built-in protocols for reporting and addressing allegations of abuse. By doing so, we can work together to ensure that no child ever has to endure such an ordeal again.
