This petition is deeply personal to us, the people of Findlay, Ohio. Our beloved Pippa, a Calico cat, was stolen from a Commercial Motor Vehicle on October 2, 2023 at 5:30 am. We have tirelessly searched for her - driving and walking countless hours around our town, calling in tips and scouring the internet daily even in other states. We believe that Senada and Milan Zmukic are responsible for this heartless act.

We have viewed video evidence of the theft and it is clear to us who committed this crime. Yet despite our efforts to bring them to justice, they have only been charged with petty theft and vehicle trespass - charges that do not reflect the seriousness of stealing a living being from its home.

This isn't just about property; it's about Pippa's life which has been disregarded by these individuals. The current charges trivialize her worth as a cherished member of our community.

We demand more than just recovery; we demand justice for Pippa. We want to know where she is now or where she was left if she has indeed been discarded as we fear.

The law must recognize that pets are not mere objects but sentient beings deserving protection against such malicious acts. Therefore we call upon local authorities in Findlay to file appropriate charges against Senada and Milan Zmukic reflecting the gravity of their actions towards Pippa.
