On a peaceful Sunday, my beloved puppy Oliver innocently wandered into my neighbor's yard. What followed was a heart-wrenching series of events. To my utter disbelief and horror, my neighbor, without any provocation or evident threat, shot and killed Oliver. This callous act not only took away a cherished member of our family but has left us traumatized and in deep mourning.

Animals, especially young and harmless ones like Oliver, should never be subjected to such unwarranted violence. My family is devastated, and our trust in the safety and compassion within our own community has been shattered.
