Jane Seberg was an American actress who earned acclaim for her performance in Jean-Luc Godard's 1960 film Breathless and other films.
Days after her suicide, the FBI admitted that its agents had plotted to ruin Jean Seberg's reputation as part of their counter-intelligence program, Cointelpro, authorised by FBI founder, J Edgar Hoover himself. Seberg’s crime, in Hoover’s eyes, was her involvement in political causes & her support of the Black Panther Party.
Her phones were tapped, she was followed, & her house broken into, making her feel unsafe, & constantly paranoid.
A memo from 1970 shows that Hoover allowed agents to plant information in the press claiming that Seberg’s then-pregnancy was the result of an affair with a Black Panther, rather than fathered by her husband, Romain Gary.
“Bureau permission is required the publicize the pregnancy of Jean Seberg, well-known movie actress, by [REDACTED] Black Panther party, [REDACTED] by advising Hollywood Gossip columnists in the Los Angeles area of the situation. It is felt that the possible publication of Seberg’s plight could cause her embarrassment and cheapen her image with the general public.”

Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse that is used to manipulate object(s) in order to deceive & undermine the credibility of the target.
During the process of gaslighting, the reliance on a plausible deniability claim can be used as a form of object manipulation. In particular, plausible deniability claims are used for the manipulation of discourses through deceitful tactics. Walton (1996) describes plausible deniability as a technique of veiled attack. The goal of a plausible deniability claim is to use major informal fallacies to actually work as credible tactics of deception in everyday argumentation. Plausible deniability will usually begin with someone making an ad hominem argument. This type of argument will usually make a fallacious suggestion about something; however, the person making the argument will never make an outright assertion, since an assertion requires a burden of proof. Instead, the argument will either rely on a presumption or an assumption to avoid the burden of proof. Walton describes this strategy of not making a declarative assertion to avoid the burden of proof as “leaving the back door open”: “plausible deniability is preserved by ambiguity, and other deceptive or confusing techniques that enable the arguer to keep the back door open, should one’s argument be directly confronted or challenged”. For example, if person A makes an insinuating statement to person B, by stating “You can tell the cops about what you know about the mob, but it’s a dangerous city,” then person B could reasonably interpret the suggestion as a threat on his life since the implication is that if he tells the cops about what he knows about the mob, then the “dangerous city” could result in his harm. However, if person B accuses person A of threatening him, then he could always use the backdoor by stating that he was just stating the facts about the city and did not ever directly make a threat. This is just one example of how plausible deniability works, but it is a strong and persuasive technique that is often successful in escaping accountabilities to a burden of proof when a fallacious argument is directly challenged.

In order to avoid prosecution in the criminal & civil courts, wrongdoers use psychological manipulation to influence the court of public opinion. Gaslighting is the wrongdoers psychological tool of choice to accomplish this. If they can't confuse the target, they will work to influence/manipulate those around the target so no one believes their claims. Blocking the target's avenues to assistance. By creating doubt & confusion in the perception of others, targets are left with few, if any, allies.
In my case, perpetrators of the electromagnetic weapons testing operation targeting me use a variety gaslighting and a variety of other tactics to conceal their actions. They monitor all communications both online & offline. Especially social media. All my online activity is dedicated to gathering & sharing evidence of evidence to draw attention to my situation in order to prompt an investigation. Perpetrators do their best to cast doubt on the credibility of the evidence I share. Which is why it is necessary to pay attention to any & all opposition to the target's claims. To weigh the evidence & think for yourself as there are mant fake accounts created for the sole purpose of sowing doubt & confusion as well as surveillance. Read their comments on my posts and think:
Why are you disputing this person's claims? What kbowledge do you have to the contrary? Have you conducted an investigation beyond a few social media posts? Have you weighed all the evidence? What do you care if what he says is vakid or not? Are you trying to protect someone? Or cover something up? Or distract from something?
Also consider: If you were part of a powerful organization with an image to maintain of being just & by the book you would do all you could to avoid criminal prosecution for violating human rights & civil rights laws along with research ethics by conducting covert experiments without the subjects consent. The embarassment & shame would destroy the credibility of the institutions they work for & end the careers of many. No one wants to lose their jobs, their pensions, benefits, or freedom. So to them it is in their best interest to suppress any & all evidence of their clandestine activities.
But justice must be served. No one, regardless of profession, class, or race is above the law. No one has more rights than another. And any & all illegal acts must be met with swift, unwavering justice.
