On March 21st, 2024, my brother was brutally tortured and stabbed to death by three individuals in the Elliot neighborhood of Pittsburgh. It's an unfathomable loss that our family endures every single day. To see someone you love harmed so violently and then taken from you without any warning leaves a scar deeper than any can imagine.

Months after this horrific incident, our family sought justice and hoped for some semblance of closure through the legal system. However, what we have encountered has been anything but supportive or transparent. Our journey through the court process with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office has been a nightmare, laden with inefficiencies and insensitivities that make us feel victimized all over again.

Instead of being an ally in our quest for justice, the very institution that is supposed to stand by victims' rights has put us through endless anguish and stress. The lack of communication, delayed hearings, and muddled processes feel like a betrayal to my deceased brother and an insult to our grieving family.

We call upon the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office to expedite the judicial process and ensure that justice is not just delayed but effectively delivered. We need transparency, empathy, and accountability throughout this ordeal, so no other family has to endure what we are going through. We demand that those responsible for my brother's murder be prosecuted to the full extent of the law without unnecessary delays and complications.
