AKA (gypsy)Our beloved neighborhood pig, Gypsy, was tragically shot on Highway 77 Park Street Park Drive in Williamson, South Carolina last week. This senseless act of violence has left our community devastated. Gypsy wasn’t just any pig; she was a friend and part of our lives. Her playful snorting and fondness for mud holes brought joy to countless residents.

Gypsy was a fixture in our neighborhood, loved by everyone, and never caused harm to anyone. Children would play with her, and families would joyously feed her as she roamed between houses, greeting everyone with her familiar oinks. She embodied the spirit of friendly neighborhood living that makes Williamson a warm and welcoming place.

On that fateful day, a man maliciously stepped out of his vehicle and shot Gypsy without provocation. This act has not only shattered our hearts but has also raised serious concerns about the safety and well-being of our community animals. We refuse to let Gypsy’s death go unpunished and unaddressed.

We call upon the local authorities in Williamson County Law Enforcement to conduct a thorough investigation into this heinous crime and hold the responsible individual accountable. Justice for Gypsy is justice for all our neighborhood animals, and it's imperative to send a clear message that such acts of brutality will not be tolerated in our community.
