Despite this, the District Attorney is considering a plea deal that would reduce Isaiah Brown's charges from first-degree to second-degree murder, significantly decreasing his sentence. This is an injustice not only to our family but to the community, who deserves to see criminals held accountable for their actions.

The offer of this lenient plea deal sends a dangerous message that such brutal crimes go unpunished. We demand that the District Attorney act in the interest of justice and refuse this plea deal, allowing the case to proceed to trial for first-degree murder.
