I am writing this petition in honor of my little brother, Devin Porter, whose life was tragically taken at the tender age of 14. Devin was more than just a brother to me; he was a beacon of light, full of potential and dreams, undeservedly caught in a situation entirely unrelated to him. Our family has been shattered by his loss, and the pain is compounded by the possibility that the person responsible might receive a lenient plea deal. This is unacceptable.
