We the undersigned, concerned citizens and advocates for justice are writing to express our deep concern and a call for a comprehensive and transparent investigation into the tragic death of Christian Walker, a person who lost his life under the custody of High Desert State Prison at Nevada Department of Corrections. The circumstances surrounding his death demand urgent attention to ensure accountability, transparency and justice.

Christian Walker's death, at the hands of corrections officers, has raised disturbing questions that demand thorough examination. We believe no one should suffer such a fate while under the care and custody of a correctional facility. It is crucial that the truth is revealed and justice is served not only for the victim of this case, but also for the sake of maintaining the public's trust in our justice system. 

We the undersigned demand the following actions: 

Independent Fact Finding: Clark County COde 2.14.020, we demand District Attorney Woflson initiate an independent and impartial fact finding investigation into the death of Christian Walker. Following the disclosure of the autopsy, we the people have serious concerns regarding the integrity of the process. A separate fact finding and independent review by a forensic pathologist are essential to maintain public confidence in the integrity of the process. 
Transparency: We request that all finding, evidence and updates related to the investigation be made accessible to the public. Transparency is vital to ensure accountability and to dispel doubts about the objectivity of the coroner's report and investiation. 
Accountability: If any individuals are found responsible for Christian Walker’s death, we urge they be held accountable through appropriate legal channels. Justice MUST prevail and those responsible must face the c consequences of their actions. 
Policy Review: We recommend a comprehensive review of the policies, procedures and training protocols within Nevada Department of Corrections. This review should aim to prevent future incidents and ensure the safety and well being of the residents of Nevada Correctional institutions and facilities
Community Engagement: We call for meaningful engagement with the community, including the family members of Christian Walker and stakeholder organizations.Their input and insights are crucial to understanding the full context and implications of this tragedy. 

WE firmly believe that a just and equitable society is built on transparency, accountability and the protection of human rights. The tragic death of Christian Walker underscores the need for systemic reform and increased oversight within Nevada’s correctional institutions.
