Thank you for your support thus far.

As you know, South Shore Apartments was contacted by CA Department of Fish and Wildlife at the end of July after a thoughtful resident filed a complaint. South Shore told CA DFW that Animal Control had come and moved both the mother duck and ducklings to the pond. We received this statement in writing from Marian Smith, Human-Wildlife Conflict Specialist at CA DFW. 

Yesterday, I confirmed with Alameda Animal Control that THEY WERE NOT INVOLVED AND HAD NO PART IN THIS. 

It's absolutely shameful that South Shore Apartments saw fit to completely lie and blame their illegal actions on our respectable Alameda Animal Control officers.
