DEMAND JUSTICE for Animal Crimes at Build An Ark in Ellijay, GA

1,057

The Issue

It has been over a year since Susan Littlejohn (Strickland) was charged and Gilmer County Animal Control had to remove malnourished and suffering animals from Build An Ark Animal Rescue in Ellijay, GA.

We have been told that the case will be going to Superior Court, yet none of the additional charges have been formally arraigned. No volunteers who directly witnessed the suffering or found rotting animal corpses have been interviewed by the District Attorney. None of the legitimate Animal Rescues that saved the animals have been contacted for medical records or interviews.

**If this case is dropped, those seized animals, who have been nursed back to health by non-profit rescues this past year, will be relinquished back to Littlejohn.

Is this evidence of a slow rolling judicial system or an attempt to let the dust settle and quietly let Littlejohn evade justice? Our legal system must take such heinous animal cruelty seriously.

Please use your position to demonstrate that animal abuse will not be tolerated by ensuring justice is served for the animals in this case. Thank you for your attention and support.
