Despite having physical evidence, eyewitness accounts, and clear procedural guidelines, the Fayetteville Police Department failed to test critical evidence that could have led directly to justice. They ignored what they had. They failed to act on what they recovered. And they obstructed the path to accountability.

 We have  gathered corroborated communications from legal and advocacy professionals that show how the department’s omissions directly undermined the prosecutorial process. A formal notice of claim has been filed, and the City of Fayetteville is being urged to respond swiftly before litigation proceeds.
