Thomas Austin Griffith, an intelligent and strong man, has been unjustly incarcerated in the Talladega County Jail since October 31, 2024. Thomas is not a cold-blooded criminal, but a devoted partner and father who acted under extreme duress. The grave charges against him arose because he was responding to a direct threat against the life of his unborn child and fiancée. In our pursuit of justice, we cannot forget the context and humanity of those we seek to condemn.
