From the time I was 8 years old, I have always cherished Jimmy Johns as my favorite sandwich shop, primarily because of the Kickin' Ranch. This spicy, zesty sauce is the perfect accompaniment to ANY of their sandwiches. Starting January 22nd, 2024, Kickin' Ranch will no longer be sold by the Jimmy Johns franchise. This marketing decision is not just a personal disappointment but an abomination that will affect many loyal customers across the country.

Kickin' Ranch has been a signature sauce at Jimmy John's for years, loved by countless customers for its unique flavor profile. Its discontinuation would not only disappoint fans like me but also potentially result in significant loss of business for Jimmy John's. According to Technomic's 2018 Sandwich Consumer Trend Report, 43% of consumers say they are more likely to purchase sandwiches that feature a variety of sauces or condiments like Kickin’ Ranch (Technomic Inc., 2018). Jimmy John's lovers across the country are upset and feel disgraced by this marketing decision, and JJ community members threatening their loyalty to the restaurant. 

We urge Jimmy John’s Corporation to reconsider this decision and continue producing and selling their beloved Kickin’ Ranch sauce. It’s more than just a condiment – it’s an integral part of our dining experience at your restaurants.
