Demand Jim Banks, Mike Braun, Todd Rokita Hold a Town Hall in Indianapolis
Il problema
This is more than an outcry. It is born of personal pain. Many of the actions taken by Jim Banks, Mike Braun, and Todd Rokita are adversely affecting us Hoosiers. In their roles as public servants, they owe us the basic responsibility to address our concerns directly. For this reason, we demand that they hold a town hall in Indianapolis, giving their constituents a platform to voice issues and ask questions personally.
According to a report by the Circle Center for Investigative Reporting, over 75% of Hoosiers feel that their concerns are ignored by their elected officials (Circle Center, 2021). This alarming statistic highlights the need for in-person accountability in our democratic process.
Through this opportunity, we hope that our representatives can provide clarity on their positions and actions. We urge them to restore confidence in their commitment to serving us, the people, and to dispel the sense of detachment increasingly associated with them.
It is a democratic right for the governed to communicate directly with the governor. For this reason, we demand a face-to-face town hall meeting with Jim Banks, Mike Braun, and Todd Rokita. Please, sign and share this petition to help ensure our voices are heard.
