It helps me survive through pain and discomfort and steers me away from opiates or other addictive painkillers. Without it, I wouldn't be able to work or live a normal life. However, false and misleading headlines from Irish Media equate synthetic cannabis with natural cannabis, causing unnecessary confusion and potential harm.

Synthetic cannabis, which is chemically engineered, has significantly differing effects compared to natural cannabis and has even been linked to several instances of poisoning, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Misinformation perpetuated by inaccurate media representation goes beyond my personal story, affecting thousands of citizens who could benefit from natural cannabis without understanding the damaging effects of its synthetic counterpart.

Irish media outlets hold enormous responsibility and influence over public perception. Thus, it's critical they differentiate between these two substances rather than lumping them together.
