Dear Neighbor,
On behalf of YOU and 1250+ concerned petitioners’, complaints against the mayor and her friends at the nonprofit, Simply Ojai (Mindful Citizen) have been drafted with the help of several attorneys, parliamentarians, and other experts. Documents have been filed with the appropriate agencies listed below and the process will continue for the remainder of the week in order to launch and expedite investigations into the alleged improprieties; Brown Act violations, conflicts of interests and misuse of Charitable tax exempt status.
The agencies are:
· Secretary of State, Dr. Shirley N. Weber
· Internal Revenue Service, US Treasury
· California Attorney General, Rob Bonta, Registry of Charitable Trusts
· District Attorney, Ventura County, Erik Nasarenko
· The Grand Jury, Ventura County
Because it will help a lot if they receive a greater number of complaints (especially to the IRS.) Please take a moment to fill out your own complaint forms which you can find on our website. If you need help filling this out, please contact us via the website: TransparentOjai.org.
On another note, with all the help we’re getting from volunteers occasionally there are mixed signals about what’s ok to publish. On our last update we inadvertently shared copyright protected material from the Ojai Valley News. We apologize to the Ojai Valley News staff, who work so hard to produce this content. We’d like to properly credit the artist, Paula Pugh for the Cartoon and Laura Rearwin Ward, publisher for her article, "Simply held hostage."
In the name of transparent government and supporting a local independent newspaper, we ask you to subscribe to our local newspaper today, or gift one for a friend.
