The Issue
I write today with a heavy heart, having lost my husband on March 26, 2021, due to lethal hospital protocols and lowered standards of care. Tragically, he was not the only one, as hundreds of thousands of patients have suffered the same fate under the care of hospitals, doctors, and nurses. My husband was euthanized without our consent, blatantly ignoring our advance directive. The admission papers bore lies, and my name was forged. They decided to impose a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) directive on him, all without discussing it with us.
Throughout his hospital stay, we were kept in the dark about his condition and his care plan. On multiple occasions, his rights were blatantly violated as he was administered medications that he did not consent to. This is not hearsay, but irrefutable facts garnered from his hospital records. He was drugged to death, as if he were on death row.
Such unethical practices are a stark violation of patients' rights and are akin to legalized murder. It's deeply concerning how certain statutes passed by the governors have allowed such fatal errors to persist. I write this petition not just for my husband, but for the hundreds of thousands of victims who experienced similar horrific ends, and for those who are vulnerable to such practices in the future.
We demand a thorough investigation into these deadly hospital protocols, the medical staff involved, and the reduced standards of care. We also call for a review of the legal statutes that seemingly allow such practices without consequences. My husband's death and the deaths of many others should not be in vain.
