I am a student who is struggling to keep up with the demands of modern education due to outdated technology in our school. The computers and software we use are so old that it becomes a challenge to complete tasks efficiently. This is not an isolated issue, as many students across the country face similar problems.

According to a report by Education Week, more than half of teachers believe their schools are not adequately equipped with up-to-date technology (Education Week, 2019). This lack of resources hampers our ability to learn effectively and prepare for the future where digital literacy is paramount.

We cannot allow this situation to continue. We need our schools to invest in better technology - updated computers, modern software, and reliable internet access - so that every student has an equal opportunity for success. 

I know that many Chromebooks and better internet can be costly but that is a small price to pay for the next generation of scientists, architects, and celebrity.
