Demand Immediate Resignation of National Union President Brian Renfroe

The Issue

My voice, as a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), has gone unheard. Despite us voting down a proposed tentative agreement, it was enforced on us through a rushed arbitration process. We are now facing the repercussions of the 2023-2026 agreement between NALC and the United States Postal Service. This situation reflects a lack of respect for our collective decision and our democratic rights as members of the NALC. Unfortunately, our National Constitution does not provide a pathway for us, the rank-and-file, to initiate a vote for impeachment.

Therefore, we are calling for the immediate resignation of National Union President Brian Renfroe, to restore the respect and dignity our votes should hold. What is at stake is a precedent for future agreements and the erosion of our rights as workers and union members. We ask that  a two-thirds majority vote from all active members to provide the change we seek. It is important to acknowledge that our unity is our strength, and we stand together calling for this change.

Together, we can ensure the NALC remains democratic, ears are lent to our voices, and that future agreements reflect our collective will. Please, sign this petition to maintain the dignity of our votes and to safeguard our future.
