Demand Immediate Resignation of Castleberry ISD Elected Officials

Demand Immediate Resignation of Castleberry ISD Elected Officials
The Issue
At the beginning of a political race, candidates are instructed on the rules for campaigning, which explicitly include the prohibition of promoting any political materials on city or school properties. Despite these clear guidelines, School Board Trustees Linda Aguillon and Tracy Gallman, along with candidate Kevin Robles, have blatantly disregarded these rules and engaged in unethical behavior that compromises the integrity of our educational environment.
As a resident within the Castleberry ISD district in River Oaks, TX, I am deeply concerned about the actions of these individuals who have chosen to ignore the law and prioritize their personal agendas above the educational welfare of our students. These officials, trusted with the sanctity of our children's education, have directly violated ethical standards by campaigning on school properties. This misconduct not only undermines the democratic process but also sets a disturbing precedent for future candidates and school board members.
Linda Aguillon and Tracy Gallman's decision to campaign for Kevin Robles by visiting various campuses within the district and promoting his candidacy at school events reflects a severe lapse in judgment and respect for the rules governing fair elections. Such behavior is not just unethical; it is a violation of the official standards expected from our elected officials.
Furthermore, candidate Kevin Robles, being a party to this unethical behavior, must also be held accountable. His participation in this misconduct questions his commitment to transparency and fairness, foundational qualities for anyone aspiring to serve in public office.
This is a call to action for Linda Aguillon and Tracy Gallman to immediately remove themselves from their positions on the Castleberry ISD School Board. Additionally, Kevin Robles should withdraw his candidacy to preserve the integrity of our district's educational system. Their resignations are imperative to restore trust and ensure that our schools remain a safe haven for unbiased education.
Sign this petition to demand accountability and uphold the integrity of Castleberry ISD. Together, we can make a difference in maintaining ethical standards within our educational institutions and protect the interests of our students and community.
