Demand Immediate International Military Intervention to Protect Gaza

Demand Immediate International Military Intervention to Protect Gaza
The Issue
Petition: Demand Immediate International Military Intervention to Protect Palestinian Civilians in Gaza and Enforce International Law
To: The United Kingdom Government, the International Community, and Member States of the United Nations
Whereas:
* The State of Israel is engaged in acts that constitute genocide against the Palestinian people, as evidenced by ongoing massacres, the deliberate withholding of essential aid, and the imposition of starvation upon the civilian population of Gaza.
* The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has acknowledged the plausibility of South Africa's claim that Israel is committing genocide.
* Numerous states across South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, including members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), have publicly supported the ICJ's findings and recognized their responsibility to prevent genocide.
* The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) has called for the evacuation of Israeli forces from Palestinian territories by October 2025, a directive that Israel has shown no intention of complying with.
* The United States of America has consistantly vetoed UN security council resolutions that hold Israel accountable for actions that violate international law.
* The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels, with mass starvation and the continued slaughter of Palestinian civilians.
Therefore, we, the undersigned British citizens, demand:
* That the United Kingdom government immediately initiate and actively support the formation of an international coalition of states, including those who have already recognized the genocidal nature of Israel's actions, to establish a protective military force in Palestine.
* That this protective force be deployed upon the invitation of the Palestinian authorities, with the explicit mandate to ensure the safety of Palestinian civilians and enforce compliance with international law, including the ICJ's orders and the UNGA's resolutions.
* That the UK government acts independently of the UN security council, due to the proven obstruction of the United States of America, and act in accordance to international law.
* That the UK government provides immediate military support to protect the people of Gaza.
* That this international intervention serve as a necessary deterrent to halt the ongoing genocide and prevent the further extermination and expulsion of the Palestinian people.
We assert that:
* The establishment of a protective military force is the only viable means to prevent further atrocities and ensure the implementation of international legal obligations.
* The urgency of the situation demands immediate action to prevent the irreversible loss of Palestinian lives.
We call upon the United Kingdom government and the international community to act decisively and without delay to uphold international law and protect the fundamental human rights of the Palestinian people.
