New research shows that a typical Queensland school leaver would need to save for 21 years just to afford a deposit. This isn’t about wanting a free or easy home; it's about prices that have shot through the roof.

Housing used to be a basic right, but now it feels like it's become a profit machine for a few. Instead of homes being safe places for families, inflated valuations and greedy market practices leave us struggling to even start our journey.
