The dangers posed by unregistered mopeds are evident throughout our city, and we, the residents who experience these dangers daily, are living proof of the problem. We urge our leaders to prioritize the safety of their constituents and take decisive action.

Therefore, we urge you to:

Implement a ban on unregistered mopeds in New York City.
Increase enforcement efforts to ensure all mopeds are properly registered and insured.
Develop a clear and efficient system for addressing safety concerns related to mopeds, including crime prevention strategies.
