I am writing this petition with a heavy heart, as two of my dear friends have been victims of car accidents in the past two years. One was sideswiped, resulting in devastating consequences. The other, a lifelong friend, was struck while crossing at a crosswalk and woke up in hospital. Both incidents were handled terribly by the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC), leaving my friends without the necessary ongoing support to recover both physically and financially.

The current no-fault insurance policy implemented by ICBC is causing immense suffering for accident victims who are left broken mentally and physically. This policy is failing those who can no longer support themselves due to their injuries.

We need ICBC to revise its policies and take accountability for all car accident victims that require ongoing financial support and medical care. It's time they stop turning their backs on those whose lives have been turned upside down due to accidents that were not their fault.

Let's stand together for justice for all car accident victims in British Columbia who are struggling under the weight of inadequate compensation from ICBC. Let's demand better treatment, proper financial support, and adequate medical care for these individuals who are fighting every day just to get back on their feet.
