I am a regular visitor to the dog park at Guezira Sporting Club, and what I have witnessed recently is nothing short of horrifying. The person in charge of the dog area has shown an alarming level of cruelty towards dogs, resorting to physical abuse as a means of exerting power and control. This individual has been seen punching and kicking a small dog, even threatening its life. His belief that beating dogs is an acceptable training method is not only inhumane but also scientifically unfounded.

In one instance, when two dogs were involved in a minor scuffle, this person continued to beat one of them even after it was removed from the situation by its owner. This kind of behavior cannot be tolerated; animal abusers should not hold positions where they are responsible for animals' safety and wellbeing.

Furthermore, there have been past instances where members have poisoned cats and dogs within this club's premises. Now they've put someone with abusive tendencies in charge of the dog park and kennel - this raises serious concerns about animal welfare at Guezira Sporting Club in Zamalek, Cairo, Egypt.

It's important to note that according to (ASPCA), positive reinforcement methods are more effective than punishment-based training which can lead to fear or aggression in animals.

Our pets deserve better treatment; they deserve respect and kindness from those who are supposed to care for them. We demand that Guezira Sporting Club takes immediate action by replacing their current dog area supervisor with someone who understands proper animal care practices.
